No, you are able to select any number of your properties to install VaultDrop.

HOW MUCH DO I CHARGE CUSTOMERS?

You can give VaultDrop cloud storage to customers for free, you can offer it as an alternative to free rent promotions, or you offer it to customers for a flat fee.

HOW DOES VAULTDROP GIVE ME A NEW SERVICE TO SELL?

VaultDrop lets you offer a brand new service, cloud storage, to your customers. This is true whether you incorporate it into your pricing as a free offering; whether you offer it as an alternative to a rental discount and if you offer it to customers for flat monthly fee.

HOW DOES VAULTDROP LET ME COLLECT MORE RENT UPFRONT?

Yes, when customers move-out, if they decide to pay monthly to keep uploading content, VaultDrop shares that revenue with you. Revenue sharing is also available in a retail scenario.

Process and Set-Up

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO IMPLEMENT VAULTDROP?

VaultDrop can be launched on your POS within days in many cases. Allow more time for manager training as your internal schedule permits.

WHAT DOES MY STAFF HAVE TO DO?

Getting the system set up is easy. Your staff’s main job is to use VaultDrop and promote it to your customers, especially to help close new customers.

HOW DO CUSTOMERS GET THEIR INVITATIONS?

Within minutes of processing a move-in, customers are automatically emailed an email invitation to receive their free cloud storage.

WHAT DO INVITATIONS LOOK LIKE?

We send customers beautiful email invitations that display images of VaultDrop in use on our apps and website, along with bulleted ways they can take advantage of the service, and of course your logo. If you’d like to see a copy, contact us at help@vaultdrop.com

DO YOU SEND CUSTOMERS REMINDERS?

Yes, if customers don’t respond to their email invitations within 24 hours, we follow-up with a text message invitation, followed by reminder emails starting a week later.

WHERE WILL THE CLOUD STORAGE BE ADVERTISED?

Make sure they have checked their spam folders and that you have their correct email address in your POS. If that still doesn’t work, they can request that their invitation be resent from the custom landing page we create for you, or you or your customer can contact help@vaultdrop.com.

WHAT IF CUSTOMERS DON’T GET THEIR INVITATIONS?

We give you tools to advertise free cloud storage physically on your property, digitally on your website, on your Sparefoot listing and other online advertising, as well as with a dedicated page we make you on our website.

WHAT DOES THE DRIVE BY BANNER LOOK LIKE AND WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS?

The drive by banner is 8’ by 4’, solid red and advertises “FREE CLOUD STORAGE” with a large white cloud.

DOES IT INTEGRATE WITH MY POS?

Yes, we are fully integrated with SiteLink, StorageCommander, QuikStor and others. We are adding new POS integrations regularly.

HOW DOES VAULTDROP INTEGRATE WITH MY POS?

POS integration is simple and fast. Typically, VaultDrop can start sending your customers invitations within a day or two of signing-up with us.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN CUSTOMERS MOVE OUT?

Customers will be able to download and share files free forever, or they can pay to keep uploading.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY CUSTOMERS IF I CANCEL THE SERVICE?

If you cancel service, VaultDrop transitions your customers to the same status as if they move-out, so they’ll be able to download and share their files free forever and upgrade if they want to continue uploading.

WILL MY STAFF HAVE ACCESS TO OUR OWN CLOUD STORAGE ACCOUNTS?

Yes, we include free cloud storage according to the same terms as customers for all your staff.

DO YOU PROVIDE BANNERS AND OTHER PHYSICAL MARKETING MATERIALS?

Yes, at no cost to you, we ship each of your participating locations a large red outdoor banner that promotes “FREE CLOUD STORAGE.” We also ship a similarly branded indoor poster and handouts for your sales office.



HOW LONG AFTER I SIGN UP WILL IT BE UNTIL I SEE THE DISPLAY PACKAGE?

Typically, we can ship banners, posters and customer handouts to your locations within 5-7 business days.

DO YOU HELP WITH MY DIGITAL MARKETING?

Yes, we provide you with a “FREE CLOUD STORAGE” graphic to include on your website and link to a custom customer landing page we provide just for your company.

WHAT IF I USE SPAREFOOT®?

We edit the main Sparefoot® image for each of your locations to include a large red “FREE CLOUD STORAGE” banner, which is proven to increase online conversions.

iCloud is limited to iPhones and some other Apple devices. Additionally, the $0.99 and even their more expensive plans are limited in file size. With VaultDrop, any iPhone, Android or Web user can access unlimited cloud storage for free. This is particularly valuable if customers switch from iPhone to Android or vice-versa.
